Mark joined Koman in 2013 to grow the real estate portfolio proactively into multifamily, urban, and mixed-use spaces. Mark brings over 26 years of experience in the strategic planning, development, operations, and construction of over $500 million in portfolio and third-party endeavors.
With a long-standing background in multifamily development, Mark has taken the lead on the three purpose-built student housing entities that Koman developed, totaling 569 units: The Edge at SIUE Edwardsville, The Edge at Cleveland State University, and Everly on the Loop, pedestrian to Washington University in St. Louis. In addition, Mark has had his hand in the mixed-use, 71-unit luxury apartment housing project, The Euclid in the Central West End of St. Louis, as well as Clayton on The Park, a 213-unit luxury high-rise in Downtown Clayton. Mark served as project lead on the development of 25,000 sq. ft. specialty grocer in the St. Louis Metro area.
