The latest podcast in the Sarah Street Series brings together Kim Plank, general manager of CIC St. Louis, Kevin Lemp, president of 4 Hands Brewing Co. , and Rob Vossmeyer of 1220 Artisan Spirits, 4 Hands’ new distillery that debuted this spring. The three talked with STL Community Cast Producer Drew Davis and Sarah Street Project Director Ron Troyano about cultivating culture and collaboration for community impact.

“This entire area is the nucleus of what’s happening in St. Louis,” said Lemp. “With everything that’s happening in Cortex, it is single-handedly maybe one of the most important areas of the city. Going in to The Grove – 2 of our 10 top accounts are right there on Chouteau – it is explosive. Growing up in St. Louis and living in the city since college, I have never seen the transformation of a neighborhood quite like I’ve seen happen in The Grove. It is amazing for the Grove to now have these anchor tenants of Chroma and Urban Chestnut and everything in between.”

He added, “The uptick of momentum in St. Louis is high. We just need to keep it going.”
