The Koman Group celebrated the grand opening of The Euclid on March 15 with a ribbon-cutting ceremony with special guests Mayor Lyda Krewson and Alderman Joseph Roddy. The stunning 25-foot-ceiling lobby was filled with colleagues and partners from Commerce Bank, Busey Bank, Trivers Associates Architects, Tarlton Corporation, Blair Kweskin Design, as well as investors, neighbors and prospective residents.
Located in St. Louis’ Central West End neighborhood, The Euclid is home to the first St. Louis Shake Shack, created by award winning restaurateur and St. Louis native Danny Meyer. Shake Shack opened in December 2017, with lines wrapping the block, and will soon be joined by Kaldi’s Coffee and ‘ZZA Pizza + Salad, both opening in April.
After the ribbon cutting, guests were invited to mix, mingle and tour the newly minted building. The second-floor social lounge featured sips and small bites from neighbor 1764 Public House of Gamlin Restaurant Group and custard from Shake Shack. On the 5th floor, guests explored open apartments showcasing a variety of floor plans and views of the neighborhood.
The Euclid moved in its first residents early March, offering a modern retreat of sleek and sophisticated living spaces just steps from the vibrancy of the Central West End. There are 17 studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom floor plans for 71 apartments, boutique in nature with finely appointed finishes.
